They are opinions, not facts or diagnoses.<\/li>\n<li>We can remove content and close accounts that break these rules.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h2>1. About these terms<\/h2>\n<p>These terms are an agreement between you and <strong>Mikaris Tech<\/strong>, which operates FolkyTalk (&#8220;we&#8221;, &#8220;us&#8221;). They apply to the FolkyTalk app and website. By creating an account or using FolkyTalk, you accept them, along with our <a href=\"..\/community-guidelines\/\">Community Guidelines<\/a>, <a href=\"..\/child-safety\/\">Child Safety Standards<\/a> and <a href=\"..\/privacy-policy\/\">Privacy Policy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>2. Who can use FolkyTalk<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>You must be <strong>at least 18 years old<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>You must be allowed to use the service under the laws that apply to you.<\/li>\n<li>You must not have had a FolkyTalk account removed by us, unless we agree otherwise.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>3. Your account<\/h2>\n<p>Give accurate information and keep it up to date. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email or phone: keep access to them secure, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. One person, one account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.<\/p>\n<h2>4. What FolkyTalk is, and is not<\/h2>\n<p>FolkyTalk collects feedback about what it feels like to be around someone, and turns it into combined results and an AI-written summary.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It is <strong>not<\/strong> a psychological, medical or professional assessment.<\/li>\n<li>It is <strong>not<\/strong> a public rating of people, and it must not be used to decide about someone&#8217;s job, housing, credit or anything similar.<\/li>\n<li>Results reflect the opinions of the people who took part. AI summaries can be incomplete or wrong. Treat them as a perspective, not as the truth about anyone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>5. Rules for anonymous feedback<\/h2>\n<p>Anonymity only works if everyone uses it well. When you review someone, you agree to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>review only people you actually know, based on your own experience of them. To review someone you found by searching FolkyTalk, you must enter their phone number or email address;<\/li>\n<li>answer honestly, and write any comment respectfully;<\/li>\n<li>keep identifying details out of comments: no names, places, dates or events that point to you or anyone else;<\/li>\n<li>not review anyone under 18;<\/li>\n<li>not use several accounts, or ask others, to push someone&#8217;s results up or down;<\/li>\n<li>not use FolkyTalk to threaten, pressure or get back at someone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When you are reviewed, you agree <strong>not to try to identify your reviewers<\/strong>, whether by guessing aloud, questioning people, or technical means.<\/p>\n<h2>6. Prohibited content and conduct<\/h2>\n<p>You must not post or do anything that is harassment, bullying, hate, sexual content, threats, impersonation, spam, illegal, or an invasion of someone&#8217;s privacy, as described in our <a href=\"..\/community-guidelines\/\">Community Guidelines<\/a>. Any content that sexualises or exploits children is strictly forbidden and will be reported to the authorities.<\/p>\n<p>You must not misuse the service: no scraping, no automated access, no attempts to break or get around our security or limits, and no reverse engineering except where the law allows it.<\/p>\n<h2>7. Moderation<\/h2>\n<p>Private comments are never displayed to anyone; they only inform AI-written summaries, which never quote them. We may leave out, hide or remove any review, comment or profile content that breaks these terms or our guidelines, or that we must remove by law. You can report content and appeal our decisions through <a href=\"..\/support\/?topic=report\">Support<\/a>; see <a href=\"..\/community-guidelines\/\">Community Guidelines<\/a> for how appeals work.<\/p>\n<h2>8. Your content<\/h2>\n<p>You keep ownership of what you write. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process and use it to run FolkyTalk: in particular, to combine it with other reviews and to generate summaries. This licence ends when your content is deleted, except where it is already part of a combined result or we must keep it by law. You confirm that you have the right to share what you submit.<\/p>\n<h2>9. Our service<\/h2>\n<p>FolkyTalk, its design, name and logo belong to Mikaris Tech. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app for its intended purpose. We may change, add or remove features. We will give reasonable notice of changes that significantly affect you.<\/p>\n<h2>10. Suspension and termination<\/h2>\n<p>You can stop using FolkyTalk and <a href=\"..\/account-deletion\/\">delete your account<\/a> at any time.<\/p>\n<p>We may suspend or close your account, with or without warning depending on how serious the situation is, if you break these terms, put others at risk, or if the law requires it. When we can, we will tell you why and how to appeal. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as 8, 12, 13 and 15) continue after termination.<\/p>\n<h2>11. Paid features<\/h2>\n<p>FolkyTalk is currently free. If we add paid features, the price and conditions will be shown clearly before you pay.<\/p>\n<h2>12. Disclaimers<\/h2>\n<p>FolkyTalk is provided &#8220;as is&#8221; and &#8220;as available&#8221;. We work hard to keep it running and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or that results and summaries will be complete or correct. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.<\/p>\n<h2>13. Limitation of liability<\/h2>\n<p>To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you or others make based on FolkyTalk results. Nothing limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.<\/p>\n<h2>14. Changes to these terms<\/h2>\n<p>We may update these terms. For important changes, we will tell you in the app or by email before they apply. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before the change takes effect.<\/p>\n<h2>15. Governing law<\/h2>\n<p>These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Mikaris Tech is established. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.<\/p>\n<h2>16.
