Anonymous feedback from the people who know you

Know your circle.
See yourself clearly.

FolkyTalk asks the people in your life one quiet question, in a few small ways: what does it feel like to be around you? Nobody is named. Nothing is public. You simply get to see yourself through their eyes.

The idea

Everyone around you knows how you come across. Except you.

Friends are too kind to say it. Colleagues are too careful. Family says it too loudly. So most of us go through life guessing how we make other people feel.

FolkyTalk measures the relationship, not the person. It never says “you are impatient”. It says “some people feel rushed around you”, and lets you decide what to do with it.

How it works

Ninety seconds of honesty.

  1. 01

    Choose someone you know

Pick one person from your contacts, or find them on FolkyTalk and confirm you know them with their phone number or email. Say whether they are a friend, a colleague or family.

  2. 02

    Answer a few quiet questions

Each one is about your own experience: “When I talk to them, I feel listened to.” Tap from never to always. Add a private note if you like: only our AI reads it.

  3. 03

    They hear it, gently

They learn that someone reviewed them, never who. As reviews gather, FolkyTalk writes them a considerate summary of how people experience them.

What people are asked

Four things we all feel around someone.

Being heard

“When I talk to them, I feel listened to.”

Do people feel listened to, remembered, and safe to bring up something difficult?

Ease

“I feel relaxed around them.”

Is time together simple and light? Do small disagreements stay small?

Reliability

“When they say they’ll do something, I don’t need to follow up.”

Can people count on them, even at a bad moment?

Trust

“I’d tell them something private without worrying.”

Is what they say to you the same as what they say about you?

What you receive

Words, not scores.

No ratings out of ten, no rankings, no leaderboard. Just a clear picture, written with care.

  • How people experience you in each of the four areas, in plain words: “often”, “almost always”.
  • An honest summary that tells the truth, considerately. No forced positivity, no harsh labels.
  • Strengths first, blind spots one tap away, so you open the hard part when you are ready.
  • Your view and theirs. Rate yourself too, and see where the picture matches and where it differs.

Our privacy promise

Honesty needs a safe place.

These are not settings. They are how FolkyTalk is built.

Never who said what

No names, no initials, no hints. Not to the person reviewed, not to anyone.

Your words stay private

Private notes are never shown. They only help the AI find what several people agree on.

Only people who know you

To review you, someone must already have your phone number or email. Strangers can’t.

Your results are yours

Private by default. Nobody can look you up. You decide if anyone else ever sees them.

And just as important

What FolkyTalk is not.

  • Not a rating site. There is no public score and no way to look someone up.
  • Not a personality test. It describes how people feel around you, never who you are.
  • Not for strangers. Only people who actually know you can say how it feels to be around you.

Questions

Good to know.

Will they know it was me?

No. They are told that someone reviewed them, never who. Results combine everyone who reviewed them, and the summary never repeats anything that could point to you.

Can they read my private note?

Never. Private notes are read only by our AI, which uses a theme only when more than one person mentions it, and never quotes anyone.

What if the person is not on FolkyTalk?

FolkyTalk (not you) sends them a short invitation. It never names you and contains no results. They can ask us never to contact them again.

Who can see my results?

Only you. Your results are private unless you choose to share them.

Why words instead of numbers?

A number invites comparison and anxiety. “Most people feel heard around you” tells you something you can actually use.

Ask the people who know you.

Start by reviewing someone you care about. That is how every circle begins.
